The Prior Art analysis gets much sharper — it reasons about the hard parts of a claim, proves them with tables and figures, and works from post-IPR claims.
Most of this week went into the Prior Art analysis, and the difference is big. It now reasons carefully about the claim language that decides real cases — negative limitations, causal “in response to” limitations, and order-of-steps — and it proves its findings with the actual evidence: the exact table row or the figure, opened right in the report. It also searches harder, reading its own results to close gaps, and shows its work. Alongside that, we finished loading every IPR and reexamination certificate so analysis runs against the claims that are actually in force, and brought the same engine to the Invention, Charting, and §112 Disclosure analyses.

Prior Art reads the hard parts of a claim
The analysis now evaluates the constructions that actually decide cases. For a negative limitation, it separates a reference that is silent on the excluded feature from one that discloses it or affirmatively excludes it. For a causal limitation (“in response to X…”), it distinguishes a genuine causal link from two events that merely co-occur. For order-of-steps limitations (“after X, then Y”), it checks the real sequence, not just that both steps appear. That is the line between a reference that meets a limitation and one that only looks like it does.

Evidence you can see — tables and figures
When a limitation is proven by a data table, the analysis cites the exact row and opens the full table right in the report. When it is shown only in a drawing, the analysis reads the figure and links you straight to it. No more taking a citation on faith or digging back through the source PDF to check it.

Deeper search that shows its work
Prior Art now runs multi-pass, read-and-refine searches — reading its top results, spotting the elements that are still thinly covered, and searching again to close the gap — and it seeds from the art examiners cited against related patents in the same family. Every run also shows what it searched and how it reached its conclusions, so you can trust the result because you can check it.

Post-IPR claim accuracy
A patent's granted claims are not always the claims still in force. We finished loading the full library of IPR and reexamination certificates — claim text that exists only as scanned certificates in the file wrapper — so the reader and every analysis now run against the operative amended claim set, with a redline against the original, instead of claims that may have been amended or cancelled in a later proceeding.

The whole bench leveled up
The Invention, Claim Charting, and §112 Disclosure analyses now run the same element-by-element engine as Prior Art, with the same negative, causal, and order-of-steps handling and the same table and figure evidence. Clearance added one-click drill-down from any flagged patent into its summary, reader, and PDF.

Claim-signal and evidence fixes
The conditional-element detector now recognizes “subsequently to” drafting forms, Disclosure table citations render the reasoning prose instead of a raw row string, and a Clearance run now fails loudly when every search query errors instead of returning a misleading empty result.
